So, as you should know, Vermont Overland (Bike) is this weekend. It’s an incredible event in our collective backyard put on by good friends. If you’ve got time on Saturday head on down to Brownsville and jump into things, go cheer people on, just spectate, patronize the Butcher and Pantry, just go be a part of it! Overland is quite the spectacle.

SUNDAY, we will do our group run and we’ll meet back up at the ol’ usual, King Arthur.

Make sure you check the map, this one can get confusing.

We’ll go on Sunday this week and do a lovely little run around Bragg, taking the trails up. The new trail variation is quite fun and will be a novelty for those of you who haven’t run bill ballard in recent months.

Hey everyone!

This weekend we have a fun outing planned for people wanting to travel out a bit. Franconia ridge loop. This loop is tough, a hard climb (3800’), a mile along a ridge, and then a fun descent. If the weather is good the views are fantastic. Greenleaf Hut is situated below Mount Lafayette and will be a great spot to refill waters during this loop (there are various springs as well). This loop is about as good of an 8miler that you can do.

This Sunday, 9am from King Arthur Flour. We'll spin over to Hanover for a classic Pine Park loop. Banter and baked goods to follow.

Did you know, Pine Park is the oldest conservation land in Hanover, NH and was originally created to stop the Diamond Match Company from cutting down all the trees?

This weekend we’ll hit a Sunday @ 9am meetup AT King Arthur. The route will be a variation of the normal Bragg Hill loop (utilizing the trails). Weather looks good and the new trails on Bill Ballard are sweet!

It’ll be a good one.

Let's go explore the Solar System!

This week we are back at King Arthur Flour at 9am. Come for a jog along the solar system (Hazen Trail) before hanging out for coffee and baked goods. Interesting planetary facts encouraged. Afterwards, bop over to the Norwich Farmer's Market next door for great local produce and music. Just remember to check for ticks after!

And for those racing the Covered Bridges Half Marathon on Sunday, enjoy a great shakeout jog before carbo-loading with King Arthur baked goods-- a surefire way for a new PR.

This weekend we’re gonna try to take advantage of some good weather and how nice the woods are this time of year AND pop on over to Woodstock for a run on the carriage roads. I’ll explain the route in person since people don’t tend to look at the map much anyways!

Firstly….We’ll be hosting a shakeout run for anyone and everyone interested in getting on the Overland course.

Afterwards? Well. Then it’s time to start a bonfire and hangout as the sun sets on the day. We hear Ben will be tasked with chopping all the firewood so let’s keep this thing burning.

This Saturday we’re switching things up and will meet at Ascutney Outdoors at 10am. The reason for this is to get a bit of a course preview heading into the Overland TRAIL race. Our loop will be roughly half of the course and will end up being 7miles and a fun outing. Come join for morning miles and then coffee and food at Brownsville Butcher and Pantry afterwards!

This week we'll have a mixed surfaces run and it seems the trails are ready for us for the year. We did ALMOST this run awhile back during the winter and it was pretty....slow going...this should be a bit better.

We’ll go on Saturday am this weekend, CRAZY. The suggested route this weekend is a great example of a run where you can pick and choose what you do. Don’t wanna hit the furthest loop? Just loop it back early. Wanna only do the furthest loops? Cut the small intro-loop in town.
